Tullie Brae
I Discovered Tullie thru a good friend, I think what drew me to Tullie was her Rough & Bluesy sound. Plus, her voice fits the New Orleans style that she sings perfectly.. Tullie is an amazing song writer, the songs that she writes have such a deep Bluesy feel to them. One of the songs on Tullie’s album “Revelation” is “Shine”, this is a beautiful Soulful song. Tullie vocals on this song are strong and really puts the feelings into the song. Another song off this album is “Seven Bridges”, this song has that old Gospel feel to it. One more song that I really like off this album is “Break These Chains”, love the harmonica on it and the deep back beat… All songs on this album were written by Tullie. One thing I noticed about Tullie’s songs is that most of them have a strong Backbeat to the rhythm. I have not had the pleasure of seeing Tullie live, but from the videos I see, she really puts on a great show. If you love the Blues or New Orleans style music you will definitely love Tullie Brae, I really hope to hear some new music from Tullie in the future.
